I spent far more time looking at BABY than I expected. At first, I was doing what I always do. I watched the chart, marked support and resistance, and waited for something obvious to happen.

Then I realized I was looking in the wrong place.

The moment that caught my attention had nothing to do with a candle or a breakout. It was the way Bitcoin could stay in self-custody while still helping secure PoS networks. I actually stopped for a minute because I had assumed there had to be some tradeoff I was missing.

That changed the way I looked at the project. Instead of asking where the next price move might come from, I started asking whether I had understood what was actually being built. Those are two very different questions.

I've made the mistake before of chasing price without spending enough time on the mechanics underneath. It usually costs me. This time I forced myself to slow down, read more, and question my first impression instead of defending it.

I still don't know how the market will value BABY over the next few months. Nobody does. But I walked away with one lesson that I'll probably carry into every project I look at from now on.
