On May 5 and May 12, the market saw an initial pump during the Asia session, followed by a dump, before recovering again with a strong move during the US session. However, on May 19, the opposite happened as the Asia session started with weakness and the market continued trending lower afterward. Today, we have once again seen the Asia session deliver an early pump, and now all attention shifts toward the upcoming US session. Normally, the US session is where the market tends to resolve direction and confirm the next major move, but today is Memorial Day in the United States, meaning liquidity is expected to remain thin due to reduced institutional participation and lower overall market activity. Thin liquidity does not necessarily change the market’s direction, but it does reduce the number of participants interacting at key levels, which can make price action more volatile and sensitive, allowing the market to move aggressively even on relatively smaller volume.#sol_long
