Big news: Gold is set to get a chance to get rich
Gold’s current trend is basically set to break below the crucial daily/weekly level of 3970 big support (Figure 3)
Everyone can check my pinned post. If 3970 is decisively broken in the next few days, you could see as low as around 3420. (The target is just for reference— it could also reach 3200. How to take profit depends on how things move at that time.)
Just went to the bathroom and found that after the resolution, gold immediately dropped with a big bearish candle within an hour. That’s a very good short-selling signal. I plan to set up a position here in advance, though the stop-loss needs to be willing to place it far enough.
I hope we can ride out a trend of these four or five hundred dollars—then we’ll be financially free! I will absolutely not give up on this big opportunity this time!!!

Figure 1️⃣: After gold has made a new historical high, it is always being suppressed by the trendline at present.
Figure 2️⃣: On the 1-hour or 4-hour timeframe, whenever gold touches this trendline, it tends to fall—so you can keep relying on this trendline to make small-timeframe trades!
However, we can focus on the key level around 4100, because once it breaks, it’s not only likely to go to 4200, it may even break above the current big timeframe trendline suppression!!!
Figure 3️⃣: If gold breaks above 4100, then I will go long targeting 4200. If it reaches there, I will choose to close the position once first. The reason is that although it really breaks the suppression of the big timeframe trendline, the red box is the price action created when “Wash” made his first statement—that is the moment when the market started having rate-hike expectations. Therefore, as long as those rate-hike expectations have not been eliminated, it’s likely difficult to immediately break through 4200 dollars.
Figure 4️⃣: So I think after the CPI is released, it will be clear that rate-hike expectations have weakened. It will be very difficult for gold to fall and break below the lower edge around 3970. As long as rate-hike expectations are not completely gone, it’s also difficult to break 4200. Therefore, after a break above 4100, it’s quite possible that 3970–4200 will form a big-timeframe daily consolidation range (the red box below). Then we’ll watch the direction of this box.
Summary:
1. Current trading opportunities can rely on the big-timeframe trendline: when price touches it, take a short; at most, expect 3950–3970
2. If it strongly breaks above 4100, you can see 4200 dollars
3. If after breaking above 4100 there is a sell/stop-rising signal at 4200, you can go long aiming for 4100–3970
4. Super extreme: If the trendline is never broken, but instead price strongly breaks down below 3950–70, then you could see 3500
