Ethereum staking queue hits 16-month high as exit queue drops to zero

The Ethereum Beacon Chain staking entry queue has surged. Data from ValidatorQueue shows 1.759 million ETH — worth about $5.5 billion — waiting to be staked, the highest level since late August 2023. New stakers now face a wait of roughly 30 days and 13 hours before their validators are activated, while the exit queue has fallen to zero.
