China’s A-share markets closed today for the first half of the year with major indexes posting gains, led by a record high in the ChiNext Index. According to NS3.AI, the ChiNext Index was up 35.58% year-to-date and reached a historic high.

The Shenzhen Component Index rose 19.82% year-to-date, while the Shanghai Composite Index gained 3.16% year-to-date.
