Crypto News Alert: According to a report from the Washington Post, a confidential analysis from the CIA this week suggests that Iran can maintain its operations under a U.S. maritime blockade for at least three to four months before facing more severe economic challenges. Despite enduring heavy bombardment from the U.S. and Israel for weeks, Iran still possesses a considerable arsenal of ballistic missile capabilities. U.S. officials state that Iran currently retains about 75% of its pre-war mobile launchers and around 70% of its missile reserves. The official mentioned that there is evidence indicating that the Iranian regime has been able to restore and reactivate nearly all of its underground storage facilities, repair some damaged missiles, and even assemble a few new missiles that were nearly complete when the conflict erupted. The official also noted that Iran's capacity to endure prolonged economic hardship is even stronger than the CIA's assessment. Sources indicate that Iran is storing some of its oil on tankers that would otherwise be idle due to the blockade, while reducing oil field output to ensure the wells remain operational. If Iran can smuggle oil overland, the CIA may have even underestimated its economic resilience.
