Crypto news from the coin world: The SGLang team has officially established the company Radixark, securing $100 million in seed funding with a post-money valuation of $400 million. Accel led the round, with Spark Capital co-leading, and both NVIDIA (through Nventures) and AMD joining as investors, along with MediaTek. SGLang acts as an intermediary layer between models and hardware, optimizing GPU memory scheduling to cut down on AI inference costs. The project kicked off in 2023, currently processing trillions of tokens daily for giants like Google, Microsoft, NVIDIA, Oracle, and xAI. Radixark is also running another open-source project, Miles, which focuses on large-scale reinforcement learning training and has been utilized for training MOE (Mixture of Experts, a model architecture that activates only a subset of parameters to reduce computational load). The funding will be used to scale both open-source projects, support more model architectures and hardware platforms, and launch managed infrastructure services aimed at enterprises.
