‼️ Users of Trezor and Ledger targeted in a new phishing attack…
Scammers have begun mailing physical letters to Ledger and Trezor owners, posing as official company notifications.
The letters contain QR codes and urge recipients to complete a so called “mandatory security verification.” Victims are directed to a phishing website where they are asked to enter their recovery (seed) phrase giving attackers full access to their crypto wallets.
Both companies stress that they never request seed phrases under any circumstances. Recovery phrases should only ever be entered directly on the hardware device itself never on a website, never via QR code, and never shared with anyone.
