What is the Binance Square Identity Influencer Verification?

Binance Square provides influencer verification badges for individual or brand accounts whose identity has been verified. They appear at the bottom right of the profile picture, helping users make smarter decisions about whom to follow and what content to engage with. It’s still very important to keep doing your own research (DYOR) and to report suspicious content to ensure you’re following real creators who are willing to share valuable viewpoints.


Mark type:

  • Black check: Binance official account

  • Gold check: Opinion leaders (KOLs), media, institutions, or well-known individuals

You can apply for either of the following two types of influencer verification badges.

1. KOL verification

Application requirements

  • Complete identity verification ( click here to apply)

  • Complete your profile

  • Have 30,000+ followers on Binance Square or a major social platform

  • Comply with Binance Square community management rules and relevant terms and conditions

Badge maintenance requirements

  • Publish at least 1 piece of content per quarter

  • Maintain a good account status with no violations or records

Binance Square will review badge status each quarter (Q1 / Q2 / Q3 / Q4), and reserves the right to revoke KOL verification eligibility based on violation records.

2. KOL verification +

Application requirements

  • Get KOL verification + ( click here to apply)

  • In addition to completing identity verification, you must also meet one of the following conditions:

    • Cumulatively earned 300,000+ content views
      or

    • This quarter’s content mining cumulative transaction volume reaches the equivalent of USD 1,000,000

Badge maintenance requirements

  • Publish at least 1 piece of content per quarter

  • Meet any of the following conditions each quarter:

    • Your content cumulatively reaches 300,000+ views

    • The content mining cumulative transaction volume reaches the equivalent of USD 1,000,000

  • Maintain a good account status with no violations or records

Binance Square will review badge status each quarter (Q1 / Q2 / Q3 / Q4), and reserves the right to revoke KOL verification eligibility based on violation records.

Requirements for different types of accounts

  • KOL (Key Opinion Leader)

    • Square followers ≥ 30,000, and maintain an active and healthy status each quarter.

    • Activity requirements:

      • Cumulative views this quarter ≥ 300K, or

      • Content mining transaction amount ≥ the USD 1M equivalent.

  • Media companies

    • A reputable media company that actively publishes news, blogs, analysis, or report content.

    • Additional information may be required to verify your identity.

    • After verification, you can align the Binance Square nickname with the company name.

  • Business institutions / Investment companies

    • Crypto, Web3, fintech, or traditional tech companies, funds, market analysis platforms, etc.

    • You must provide identity verification information. After verification, your nickname can be aligned with the company name.

  • Project teams

    • Project teams that have been listed on Binance are eligible to apply for verification.

    • You must provide identity verification information. After verification, your nickname can be aligned with the company name.

How to apply

  • KOL self-application method:

  • After your application is approved, you will receive KOL verification. Other users can also access the application page directly via the link.


  • Well-known individuals such as media, business institutions/investment companies, project teams, etc.:

    • We reserve the right to invite project teams, media, and other well-known individuals who continuously publish crypto-related content to hold Binance Square KOL verification. KOL verification will be strictly reviewed according to the platform standards, and the final approval authority belongs to the platform.

    • Organizations may submit applications by emailing the official address square@binance.com and providing:

      • Company name, Binance UID, and nature of the business

      • Social media account(s) or official website link

      • Contact person name, email, and contact details (Telegram, WeChat, etc.)
