Been exploring different projects lately, and one that caught my attention is Conceal Network ($CCX).
What’s interesting is that they’re not just another privacy coin trying to compete with the big names — they seem to be moving toward something more practical: privacy-focused authentication.
They recently launched a Conceal Authenticator:
- Open source
- No dependency on Google
- Encrypted backups stored on-chain
In a time where more services require 2FA and data breaches are becoming normal, having control over your own authentication keys actually makes a lot of sense.
Most people don’t think about it, but your 2FA app is a central point of trust. If that gets compromised, everything else follows.
I’m not saying this will go mainstream overnight — adoption is always the hardest part — but it’s one of the few smaller projects I’ve seen recently that is actually trying to solve a real, everyday problem.
Curious to see where this goes.
Anyone else looked into Conceal or tried the authenticator?
