This follows a statement by HTX advisor Justin Sun, who promised a 5% reward (amounting to $400,000) if the hacker returned the stolen funds. On the 7th, the hacker returned 4,999 ETH, valued at approximately $8.2 million. This comes after an incident on the 25th of the previous month, where HTX lost 5,000 ETH (worth about $7.9 million at that time) due to a hot wallet breach.
