You see a clean setup, you hit confirm, and then the deviation (slippage) eats part of the move; MEV bots arrive first somehow; or the price moves just enough to make the whole operation feel worse than it should. Add fragmented liquidity across different networks and it starts to feel like youโre spending more time fighting execution than actually trading.
Probably why the Newton Protocol caught my attention. The point isnโt just to have smarter AI strategies. Iโm more interested in whether thereโs an infrastructure that can execute those strategies without leaking value at every step. For an AI to make decisions is one thing. For an AI to operate in a market full of front-running and chaotic execution is a completely different problem.
