The consensus layer relies on the operation of the EigenLayer AVS node operator network. All nodes reuse the same set of strategy specifications and input parameters, independently performing deterministic strategy evaluation. It then leverages distributed cryptographic consensus schemes such as BLS signatures and threshold signature aggregation to unify the evaluation conclusions across the entire network, eliminating the risks of bias caused by single-point decision-making from the foundation.
The verification layer serves as the on-chain final validation exit. It is responsible for conducting the on-chain final review of the consensus results after node aggregation, and outputs execution instructions that can be implemented directly, such as approvals, rejections, and quota limits. The core value of the entire architecture is not computing transaction execution and user intent, but generating standardized strategy decision conclusions backed by multi-node collaboration and cryptographic consensus.
When deployed into the real on-chain interaction process, @NewtonProtocol end-to-end operation is divided into five major modules: user intent submission, standardized strategy validation, off-chain trusted data source integration, AVS node parallel computation, and distributed consensus signature aggregation. This system does not have the traditional public chain’s open, variable computation path. Node computation, data retrieval, and result output are all constrained by predefined strategy rules. It is a highly standardized, result-predictable closed-loop validation system.
