Some crypto literate people are recruiting people in their hundreds to farm the $WLD airdrop in India. As reported by Jameson Lopp on Twitter.
According to him, crypto literate people have been gathering hundreds of people who know nothing about crypto to register their World ID.
Each person who registers will get 25 WLD tokens. So these guys will give the person they bring $10 - 20 for coming, while they keep the 25 WLD.
One WLD = $2.16
25 WLD = $54
If each invited person to register receives $20, then the inviter gains a cool $35. Wow!
This has to be illegal, right? And how can this be stopped?
Since the last few days, the World Coin registration points in India has reduced form ten to just one, being the one at Bangalore.
This is physical airdrop farming at its best. How will World Coin handle this?
