Blockchain works differently. Instead of relying on a central authority, information is stored across a network of computers known as nodes. Each node maintains a copy of the blockchain and participates in verifying transactions. Large decentralized networks like Bitcoin are highly resistant to attacks because there is no single point of failure. Even if one computer in the network stops working, the rest of the network continues to operate. For example, in a traditional banking system, if a bank’s central server fails, transactions may be delayed or interrupted.
