🙋♂️ I’m now at over $845,000 profit in 2023 from daytrading.
✅Heres the top 5 things that helped me get to this point:
𝟭. 𝗛𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝘂𝗹𝗲𝘀✅
I wouldnt be able to trade consistently with large size if I didnt have a strict set of rules I follow.
I always know when Im taking a trade, when Im cutting a loss, and when Im taking profit
𝟮. 𝗧𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲✅
Im proud to say that after 5+ years of trading my discipline is at an all time high.
While im not 100% perfect Im mentally in a place where I almost never stray from my rules and am able to execute in an almost robotic manner.
𝟯. 𝗜 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲𝘀✅
If the setup isnt there I wont trade. Taking impulsive trades when theres no setup is a great way to donate your money to the market.
My biggest loss this year was from losing discipline one day and forcing horrible trades.
𝟒. 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐤✅
You need to be okay with losing money if you want to make money.
Im always prepared to close a trade for a loss if it doesn’t go my way.
This keeps my losses tight and prevents me from bagholding.
𝟓. 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 + 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞.✅
This didnt happen overnight.
It took thousands of hours of experience and screen time to get the confidence to take large trades when I see my setups.
So if you want to do big numbers, expect to put in big hours.
