CleanSpark, one of the world's largest Bitcoin (BTC) miners, has invested millions of dollars in the latest model Antminer devices. US miner CleanSpark is preparing to enter the cutting edge of Bitcoin mining. In the official announcement made by the company, it was stated that the S21 device, produced by Antminer and providing 4.4 exahash (EH/s) efficiency, was purchased. Antminer S21 offers 20% more efficiency than XP, the best Bitcoin mining device on the market. Thanks to this investment, CleanSpark will provide an efficiency of 17.5 joules (J/TH) per Terahash (TH). Delivery of mining products will begin in January 2024. Payment will be made 1 year after the delivery of the transactions. CleanSpark will make 12.35 million splits, equivalent to 2.80 per TH. On the other hand, 20% of the payment will be covered by the seller-based source. CleanSpark CEO Zach Bradford, who is among those talking about the issue, stated that this step will reduce the costs per Bitcoin produced and increase production capacities: Integrating the S21 into our mining operations aligns with our commitment to using the most efficient mining practices. 21's transaction will not only increase our capacity, but will also reduce energy costs per allocated Bitcoin, increasing our competitiveness in the global mining environment. Importantly, our study positioned strong Bitcoin production at strong margins, and as a result we expect to fund the acquisition through storage bin operating cash flow. These new device purchases were interpreted as a sign that the Bitcoin miner was making preparations.
