You bury it beneath the soil and keep it hidden because that tiny seed carries the potential for something much bigger.
Your crypto wallet works in a similar way.
Your seed phrase is the secret recovery information used to derive the private keys that control your wallet.
Seed phrase → Private keys → Assets
If your phone is lost or your wallet app is deleted, the seed phrase can be used to recover your wallet.
But there’s another side to that:
If someone else gets your seed phrase, they can use it to recover the wallet too—and potentially take control of the assets.
Your wallet address is public.
Your seed phrase is not.
🚫 Never share it.
🚫 Never enter it into random websites or apps.
🚫 Never store it in screenshots or chats.
No legitimate wallet or support agent needs your seed phrase.
