According to PANews, venture capitalist Marc Andreessen, Accolade Partners, and Galaxy Digital have invested in the latest fund of crypto venture capital firm 1kx. The investment comes as digital asset financing cautiously recovers from a two-year slump. Lasse Clausen, founding partner of 1kx, stated that the fund raised $75 million, with Accolade being the main investor in the new fund. Despite Bitcoin's price reaching historic highs, venture capital funding remains subdued.
Since 2018, 1kx has focused on areas including consumer-oriented crypto applications. The new fund has already made approximately five investments.
