🇸🇦🇶🇦 Gulf stock markets are falling as investors brace for Trump's next move against Iran, following another weekend of explosions, tanker attacks and military confrontations.

Saudi Arabia's benchmark index dropped 1%, while Qatar's fell 1.3%, as fears of renewed U.S. strikes weighed on regional markets.

Last night, explosions were reported across southern Iran, including Qeshm Island, while the IRGC said two oil tankers caught fire after striking mines in waters Tehran had declared off-limits.

Meanwhile, U.S. Central Command confirmed that an American aircraft opened fire on and disabled a merchant vessel attempting to defy Washington's naval blockade of Iran.

The instability has also spread further west, with Saudi forces reporting fresh missile interceptions as Houthi attacks continue to threaten the kingdom.

Qatar says it is still mediating between Washington and Tehran, but traders are watching Trump's next decision as the immediate test of whether the confrontation escalates further.
