$HYPE has bled 10.6% in a week and now sits just 1.8% above its 7-day low. Is 76 about to get tested again?
The numbers from Binance spot:
• Price: 77.64, -1.1% on the day
• 24h range: 77.41 – 79.68 (trading near the bottom of it)
• 7d range: 76.25 – 89.08
• 24h volume: ~$28.5M vs a ~$41.9M daily average over the prior 6 days
The big damage came in one session on Nov 5: a flush from ~83.5 to the 76.25 wick on the heaviest volume of the week. Since then it's a slow drift, lower highs near 79.7 and shrinking volume. Low-volume drifts toward support can go either way, but they usually resolve with a sharp candle.
My levels:
→ 76.25: the line. A clean 4h close below opens the 30-day low near 74.45.
→ 79.7–80: first ceiling. Reclaiming it with volume would turn this into a range, not a breakdown.
Project angle: Hyperliquid Strategies, a public company holding HYPE in its treasury, has filed to become a CFTC-registered futures commission merchant and reported $13.3M in quarterly revenue (The Block, Nov 5). Interesting for the long-term US access story, but it hasn't moved the chart this week.
HYPE is volatile; size accordingly. Do you buy the 76 retest or wait for 80?
