Gnosis Pay just had a data breach: card details and personal data exposed.
What we know (The Block, Cointelegraph):
• Breach hit the crypto card provider on Nov 6
• Customer funds reported safe
• Exposed info is the kind used for phishing and SIM-swap attempts
Self-custody protects your coins, but not your identity. When a card is tied to your wallet, the weak link is the data around it, not the keys.
If you hold a crypto card: check statements, rotate passwords and be wary of "support" DMs.
Do you use a crypto debit card, or keep spending separate from your main wallet?
