$ETH | WHY I WAIT FOR THE RETEST ETH closed November 4 near $2,425 after reaching $2,450. The November 5 pullback then gave back most of that recovery. The attached November 5 chart captures that reversal, a useful reminder of why I wait for the hold after the close. For me, a strong candle starts a question. Can buyers defend the level they just recovered when price comes back to it? If they can, the recovery has something more solid underneath it. If they cannot, I need to reassess. Waiting for that second step can mean missing part of a move. I’m comfortable with that. I would rather have a clear level to judge than build confidence around the colour of one candle. The same applies on the way down. Trading below support during an open candle and closing below it are different things. Neither tells us everything on its own. In a market moving this quickly, I’m keeping my process simple: the level, the close, then the reaction. What price does next matters more to me than how convincing the first move looked. Hope this helps you with your own charts. 🫶 Give me a follow if you’d like to see more, I’ll keep sharing what I’m watching.
