Thank you for your continued support of Binance Square.
To foster an authentic, respectful, and constructive environment for everyone, we have updated the Binance Square Community Guidelines. This update focuses on two areas: affiliate promotion and community conduct. It applies to all content on Binance Square, including livestreams, posts, comments, chat rooms, and profile pages. Details are as follows:1. Affiliate Promotion Guidelines
The Binance Affiliate Program rules explicitly state that"inducing existing users to switch accounts, re-register, or making false claims or promises in any form on Binance Square is strictly prohibited." In line with these rules Binance Square is introducing the following:Livestreams: Do not display referral codes, registration links, Co-Inviter information, or other promotional content on screen or in livestream room decorations. This helps ensure a better viewing experience for everyone.
Posts and Profiles: Do not use affiliate commission rates as a selling point. Do not display referral
codes, registration links, or Co-Inviter information in your bio, and do not pin affiliate-related posts to your profile.
Account Switching: Encouraging registered users to close, switch, or re-register their accounts is strictly prohibited anywhere on Binance Square. This includes, but is not limited to, encouraging users to register new accounts using the identity information of family members or other individuals.
2. Respectful Discussion, No Personal Attacks
We welcome healthy debate and differing opinions, but discussions must not turn into personal attacks or harassment. The following behaviors are considered violations:
Insults and Attacks: Insulting or demeaning others based on appearance, occupation, identity, or health; attacking someone's family; or using content involving relatives, sexual insults, or personal degradation to attack others.
Threats and Curses: Wishing death, serious illness, or other serious harm on others, or threatening to harm them.
Targeted Harassment: Repeatedly posting hostile content aimed at a specific person; spreading conflicts to unrelated posts, comment sections, livestreams, or group chats; or organizing or encouraging others to collectively insult, spam, or gang up on someone.
Privacy Violations: Disclosing others' personal information without authorization, including real names, ID details, home addresses, contact information, or financial information; or organizing or participating in doxxing.
These behaviors will be identified and addressed based on context, even when carried out through screenshots, edited clips, coded language, homophones, or insinuation.
3. Grace Period
A grace period is in effect from today until November 20. Please review your livestream setup, profile, and previously published content against the guidelines above, and edit or remove anything that does not comply.
Once the grace period ends, these rules will be fully enforced. For content that has not been updated, the platform will reset the relevant bios, take action on violating content, and conduct regular reviews. Violations will be subject to escalating penalties under the Binance Square Community Guidelines.
A great community is one we build together. If you have any questions about this update, please contact Binance.
