🔥 $BTC dipped to $75.6K as Democrats swept Congress, then rebounded above $80K within hours. Is this good or bad for crypto ? Both chambers flipped, with Democratic wins in Texas, Ohio, Kansas, Iowa and South Carolina, per AP calls reported Wednesday. The market shrugged: prediction markets had put a Democratic House above 90%, and Talos called it largely priced in. The dip came with about $288M in long liquidations. What changes is the policy road. The CLARITY Act passed the House 294-134 in July 2025 but failed its Senate cloture vote 49-50 on Sept 15. Gavels now move, with Elizabeth Warren, who has opposed the bill, in line to chair Senate Banking and Maxine Waters returning to House Financial Services. Democrats also plan tougher ethics rules aimed at Trump’s crypto ventures and gain a say in SEC and CFTC staffing. The case for “bad”: slower legislation, tougher oversight, and newer products like tokenized stocks or yield accounts could face delays. The case for “good”: the bill already needed Democratic votes, and the next draft is expected to carry stronger consumer safeguards and tighter stablecoin yield limits, a possible path to the 60 votes it lacked. What doesn’t change: the GENIUS Act is law, and Congress alone can’t undo existing SEC and CFTC guidance. Analysts still rank real yields, dollar liquidity and ETF flows above the election for price. #BTC Price Analysis# #Altcoin Season# #Macro Insights#
