Bitcoin’s $81K Recovery: Is the Bullish Move a Trap?
Bitcoin has made an impressive recovery from the $75,700–$76,000 support zone, recently reaching the $81,000 area. But does this mean the market has officially turned bullish?
Not necessarily.
Despite the recent bounce, I believe traders should remain cautious. A short-term price recovery does not always signal a complete trend reversal.
Why I’m Not Turning Bullish Yet
Bitcoin has experienced sharp movements in both directions, catching many leveraged traders off guard. First, buyers entered expecting a rally, and then sellers faced pressure as BTC recovered.
In my view, the broader market still needs stronger confirmation before calling this a bullish trend.
The recent US midterm election results have also introduced another political factor. Democrats gaining control of Congress could create uncertainty around the future of US crypto legislation and market expectations.
Important Events That Could Move Bitcoin
Traders should pay close attention to the upcoming US economic calendar:
November 6: US Non-Farm Payrolls (NFP)
November 10: US CPI Inflation
November 13: US PPI
November 17: US Retail Sales
November 18: FOMC Meeting Minutes
November 25: US PCE Inflation
Beyond these reports, keep an eye on Federal Reserve rate expectations, the US Dollar Index (DXY), Treasury yields, Nasdaq performance, Bitcoin ETF flows, and geopolitical developments involving Iran and Israel.
Any major surprise could increase volatility across financial markets.
Key Bitcoin Levels to Watch
For now, the $80K–$82K region remains an important area to monitor.
If Bitcoin holds above this range and builds stronger momentum, buyers could gain confidence.
However, losing support could bring the $75K–$76K zone back into focus. A deeper correction below $74K is another possibility that bearish traders may be watching.
These are potential scenarios, not guaranteed price targets.
My Trading Strategy
I’m not interested in chasing every green candle. I would rather wait for a clear market signal before making a decision.
A move above resistance with strong confirmation could change the outlook. On the other hand, a breakdown below key support may strengthen the bearish scenario.
Remember: protecting your capital is more important than catching every market move. Avoid excessive leverage and always use proper risk management.
What’s your view on Bitcoin right now? Is BTC preparing for a rally toward $85K, or could we see another correction below $74K?
