$WLFI's $0.05 shelf just broke — and this time the tape has a real reason behind it.

After defending $0.0495 all day (seven hours of holds and reclaims), it cracked at 15:00 UTC: $0.0500 to $0.0468 on $910k quote volume, the heaviest hourly bar of the day. The 16:00, 17:00 and 18:00 candles never got back up. Four straight closes under the line. Live $0.0470, down 7.8% on the day, $9.3M on Binance, 24h low $0.0454.

The driver: election-night politics. WLFI slid 11% during election-night trading and was still 5% underwater at 5 a.m. ET — while Bitcoin recovered its losses and moved on (The Defiant, bitcoinfoundation.org). And on Nov 3, Justin Sun said his lawyers had asked a California federal court to sanction World Liberty over what he calls a delayed disclosure of UAE citizenship in its ownership chain — the newest public chapter of his $45M frozen-token dispute with the Trump-family-backed venture. Sun also alleged the project threatened to burn his tokens; the court has found nothing yet.

The honest other side: the $0.0454 overnight low held through today's follow-through — this is not yet a new-low print. If the election dust settles and $0.0495 reclaims on a closed hour, today reads as the washout. Until then it's under the shelf, trading the court docket, not the chart.

Not a call, either way. Does $0.0454 hold into the next session, or does the legal overhang drag WLFI to fresh lows?
