The SEC's Division of Corporation Finance said Canton Coin (CC) is a digital commodity under the SEC's March 2026 interpretation. Staff said the token's value comes from how the #Canton Network runs and from supply and demand, and that no central party controls the network. They won't recommend enforcement over the token being minted automatically by the network without registration.
