Stellar's Bell protocol upgrade goes live on testnet ahead of mainnet validator vote

Stellar has launched its Bell protocol upgrade on the testnet, marking a key step before a mainnet vote by validators scheduled for November 23. The upgrade, also known as Protocol 30, introduces smart-account features for businesses and optional post-quantum signature verification for smart contracts, enhancing security and transaction speed. Wallets and indexers need to update their software to support these changes. The upgrade aims to improve Stellar's cross-border transaction capabilities and overall network performance.
