Two tokens I’m keeping on my watchlist this week are $ZEC and #UNI on Bitget. Both have interesting developments that could attract more market attention.
ZEC: Privacy is becoming a bigger talking point in crypto, and institutional interest is growing. Grayscale’s Zcash fund has now crossed $670M in assets. Another major development is the upcoming NU7 upgrade, expected around November 5, which aims to reduce block times from 75 seconds to 25 seconds.
Faster confirmations could improve the user experience, but I’ll be watching the upgrade closely because network changes can bring volatility.
$UNI : Uniswap is taking another step toward connecting protocol activity with token value. Its fee mechanism uses protocol revenue to fund UNI burns. More than 113 million UNI have been burned overall, although this includes a one time 100 million treasury burn. Ongoing fee burns are a separate part of the mechanism.
