Bitcoin gave back Sunday's gain on Monday and closed below its October finish.
On Binance spot, BTC/USDT fell 1.96% on November 2, from 78,354 to 76,816. That left it 0.99% below the October 31 close of 77,582.02.
Ether also lost its first-day gain, though it finished much closer to month-end: ETH/USDT closed Monday at 2,253.29, down 0.97% for the day and just 0.11% below October 31.
Both started November with an up day, then surrendered that gain in the next session. Bitcoin ended those two days further below its starting point.
