The Fed kept interest rates at 3.75% to 4.00% on Oct 28.
The vote was 10-2. This is called a hawkish hold. It means they paused, but they are still thinking about a hike in December.
What happened after?
Stocks went slightly up, Dollar went slightly down, Gold went to $4070, and Bitcoin pumped to $81K then came back down.
What does this mean for us crypto traders?
1. No big bull run yet. As long as rates are high, big money will not enter crypto fast.
2. Short term pumps will happen, but they will be sold.
3. The real move will come after December 9. Market is pricing an 85% chance of a rate hike then.
So what to do now?
Do not take big leverage longs. Play small, book small profits, and wait for a clear direction.
December will decide if we go to $100K or back to $70K.
What is your plan? Long or short?
