None of these three was in the 11:15 brief. IDOL is the one where leverage built the move: open interest is up two-thirds in coins and funding is near its 90-period max. INIT is the opposite trade, with shorts already paying, so it is listed as the lowest-conviction setup here.
Data: Binance USDT-M perpetuals, snapshot 2026-10-29 15:59 (Taipei, UTC+8), filtered to 24h quote volume of at least 20M USDT. Funding percentile is against each coin's last 90 settlements. "OI (coin)" is open interest counted in tokens. Liquidation zones are rough estimates from common leverage (50x/20x/10x), not exchange data. MC/FDV and unlocks come from public trackers (CoinMarketCap, CoinGecko, CoinGlass, DefiLlama, Tokenomist, TokenRadar, DropsTab, Tokenomics.com), recomputed at the Binance last price, and were not checked on-chain.
Versus the 11:15 brief: EVAA, AIN and APR have all dropped out of the top three. This brief does not re-check their triggers or stops.

1) $IDOL (IDOLUSDT): +57.7% | Last 0.013299 | 24h range 0.008253 – 0.016239 | 24h vol 213.3M USDT
New versus the 11:15 brief.
Market diagnosis
- Funding: +0.0357% per settlement, 99th percentile (90-period average +0.0069%, max +0.0584% two settlements ago). Last five: 0.005%, 0.005%, 0.005%, 0.058%, 0.026%. It jumped off the floor in one settlement, and the current reading is about five times the average.
- OI (coin): 509.9M to 848.9M in 24h (+66.5%), and +6.2% from 799.4M six hours ago. OI value 4.29M to 11.19M USDT. The OI value is down 9.8% over six hours, but that is price; the coin count is still rising.
- Positioning: 55.4% of accounts long. Top-trader position ratio eased from 1.38 to 1.34. Taker buy/sell 0.92–1.09, last 1.02, neutral.
- Structure: the 24h high of 0.016239 printed at 09:00. Since then the 1h highs have stepped down: 0.015484, 0.014849, 0.014463, 0.013674, 0.013829. A bearish 1h RSI divergence is flagged (RSI 78.2 at the 0.016239 high versus 87.1 at the 0.009863 high earlier). The 1h MACD histogram is still positive but has shrunk for five bars, from 0.00043 to 0.00005. The 4h RSI is down from 94.8 to 77.2. The 08:00 4h candle carries a 33% upper wick. Price is 19.5% under the 1h upper band and 1.1% under the 4h upper band.
- MC/FDV: 4.8B max supply. Trackers disagree on circulating supply: 1.046B (CoinMarketCap, CoinGlass) versus 2.19B (CoinGecko). At 0.013299 that gives an MC of about 13.9M or 29.2M and an FDV of about 63.8M. Perp OI of 11.2M USDT is about 0.8x the smaller MC figure or 0.38x the larger one. Not verified.
- 30-day unlocks: no dated unlock found. Not verified.
Short setup
- Stop first: left side, SL on a 1h close above 0.01630. Right side, SL on a 1h close back above 0.01390.
- Resistance zone: 0.01446 – 0.01548 (the 11:00–13:00 1h highs). Estimated short liquidations above a 0.013299 entry: about 0.01356 (50x), about 0.01396 (20x), about 0.01463 (10x).
- Left-side entry: small size on a rejection wick inside 0.0145 – 0.0155. Stop distance about 5–12%.
- Right-side entry (preferred): a 1h close below 0.01232 (the 14:00 low), with OI (coin) turning down from 848.9M.
- TP1: 0.01162 (1h Bollinger midline). TP2: 0.009813 (12-hour 1h low).
- Sizing: 0.5% account risk. The right-side stop is about 13% from the trigger.
Risk notes
From what I've seen, funding that jumps from the floor to near its max in a single settlement means late longs are paying up. But the coin count is still climbing, so the unwind has not started. The float is unclear, and the trackers' figures differ by a factor of two. The short needs the 0.01232 break, not just the divergence.

2) $INIT (INITUSDT): +20.0% | Last 0.21178 | 24h range 0.17554 – 0.25777 | 24h vol 215.3M USDT
New versus the 11:15 brief.
Market diagnosis
- Funding: -0.0372% per settlement, 6th percentile (90-period average +0.0013%, max +0.0050%). Last five: -0.044%, -0.068%, -0.027%, -0.041%, -0.046%. Shorts have paid on every one of the last five settlements. This crowd is already short.
- OI (coin): 58.72M to 64.72M in 24h (+10.2%), and +1.7% from 63.63M six hours ago. OI value 10.41M to 13.69M USDT.
- Positioning: 47.7% of accounts long. Top-trader position ratio 1.14–1.18, last 1.14. Taker buy/sell 0.94–1.09, last 0.98.
- Structure: the 20:00 4h candle on Oct 28 ran to 0.25777 and closed at 0.19484, with a 58.9% upper wick. A bearish 4h RSI divergence is flagged against the 0.16754 high on Oct 25. The 4h highs since then are lower: 0.22325, 0.22919, 0.227, 0.22315. The 1h MACD histogram has been negative and widening for six bars, from -0.00053 to -0.00232. 1h RSI 52.7, 4h RSI 63.0. Price is just under the 0.21704 1h midline.
- MC/FDV: 210.79M circulating of a 1B fixed supply (Tokenomist, DefiLlama, DropsTab). At 0.21178, MC is about 44.6M and FDV about 211.8M, so MC/FDV is about 21%. Perp OI of 13.7M USDT is about 0.31x market cap.
- 30-day unlocks: the sources conflict. DropsTab lists 8.79M INIT on Nov 24 (about 4.2% of float). TokenRadar lists about 0.95M in late October. DefiLlama shows nothing until Apr 24, 2027. Not verified.
Short setup
- Stop first: left side, SL on a 1h close above 0.2360. Right side, SL on a 1h close back above 0.2240.
- Resistance zone: 0.2230 – 0.2292 (the 4h lower highs). Estimated short liquidations above a 0.21178 entry: about 0.2160 (50x), about 0.2224 (20x), about 0.2330 (10x).
- Left-side entry: small size on a rejection inside 0.2230 – 0.2290. Stop distance about 3–6%.
- Right-side entry (preferred): a 1h close below 0.20081 (the 13:00 low), with funding not getting more negative.
- TP1: 0.19748 (1h lower Bollinger band). TP2: 0.17554 (24h low).
- Sizing: 0.25–0.5% account risk. The right-side stop is about 11.5% from the trigger.
Risk notes
In my experience, shorting into negative funding means joining the crowd, not fading it. Shorts pay to hold, and a squeeze through 0.2240 is the risk to respect. The structure is the bearish one of the three, but the positioning is not. Treat INIT as the lowest-conviction setup here.

3) $ON (ONUSDT): +19.1% | Last 0.1744 | 24h range 0.1433 – 0.2073 | 24h vol 78.5M USDT
New versus the 11:15 brief.
Market diagnosis
- Funding: +0.0061% per settlement, 81st percentile (90-period average +0.0070%, max +0.0324%). Last five: 0.032%, 0.005%, 0.005%, 0.005%, 0.005%. The current reading is under its own average, so longs are not paying up.
- OI (coin): 55.53M to 66.67M in 24h (+20.0%), and +4.1% from 64.06M six hours ago. OI value 8.15M to 12.20M USDT.
- Positioning: this is the most one-sided crowd of the three. 61.3% of accounts are long, and the top-trader position ratio climbed from 1.43 to 1.69 over six hours. Taker buy/sell is 0.90–1.09, last 0.92, so aggressive flow leans to sellers.
- Structure: the 12:00 4h candle ran to 0.1962 and closed at 0.1745, with a 47.1% upper wick. That is a lower high under the 0.2073 high from Oct 28 16:00. The 1h RSI went from 75.5 to 51.7 in four hours. The 1h MACD histogram flipped negative, from +0.00094 to -0.00139. Price is below the 0.17622 1h midline. 4h RSI 66.6. No formal divergence flagged.
- MC/FDV: 144.275M circulating (CoinGecko, Tokenomics.com) of 700M total and 1B max. At 0.1744, MC is about 25.2M and FDV about 122.1M on total supply (174.4M on max), so MC/FDV is about 21%. Perp OI of 12.2M USDT is about 0.48x market cap.
- 30-day unlocks: no dated unlock found. Not verified.
Short setup
- Stop first: left side, SL on a 1h close above 0.2000. Right side, SL on a 1h close back above 0.1860.
- Resistance zone: 0.1875 – 0.1962 (the 11:00 high to the 12:00 high). Estimated short liquidations above a 0.1744 entry: about 0.1779 (50x), about 0.1831 (20x), about 0.1918 (10x).
- Left-side entry: small size on a rejection inside 0.1875 – 0.1960, if it gets there.
- Right-side entry (preferred): a 1h close below 0.1654 (the 15:00 low), with taker buy/sell staying under 1.0.
- TP1: 0.1612 (1h lower Bollinger band). TP2: 0.1433 (24h low).
- Sizing: 0.5% account risk. The right-side stop is about 12.5% from the trigger.
Risk notes
From what I've seen, top traders adding long into a 47% wick while takers sell is the kind of disagreement that resolves hard. Funding is flat, though, so there is no carry pressure on the longs. This is a positioning fade, not a leverage flush.
---
Position discipline
- Funding and OI on their own have shown no statistical edge for shorts. They tell you how large the next move can be, not its direction. Wait for structure to break.
- Set the stop first and size from it. Never move a stop further away.
- A fade typically sees 3–5% drawdown before it works, so keep leverage low and scale in. Don't chase a short after OI has already flushed 8% or more.
- INIT's shorts are already paying. Fading a crowd that is short already is not a contrarian trade, so keep it smallest.
- These are three separate theses. Don't run them at full size together.
This is not investment advice. Leverage can lose more than you plan for.
