1️⃣ A scammer sends a tiny or zero-value transfer to your wallet from an address that looks almost like one you use (same first and last characters).
2️⃣ That fake address now sits in your transaction history.
3️⃣ Next time you copy an address from your history, you grab the fake one, and the funds are gone for good.
How to stay safe ✅
• Never copy a send address from your transaction history
• Save trusted addresses in an address book or withdrawal whitelist
• Check the FULL address, not just the start and the end
• For big transfers, send a small test amount first
On-chain transfers can't be reversed, so 10 extra seconds of checking is always worth it.
