Bitcoin is back around the $80K zone, but the ETF story has suddenly become messy.

U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs started the week like they had finally found their appetite again. Monday brought about $526.7M in inflows, followed by another $23.2M on Tuesday and $528.4M on Wednesday. Then Thursday arrived and investors basically said, “Actually… let’s think about this.” 😂

The result? A massive $635.6M flowed OUT of Bitcoin ETFs on Thursday, the largest daily outflow since June. Friday added another $137.9M in withdrawals, wiping out much of the week’s earlier strength.

Still, the week did not end completely red. Preliminary figures show Bitcoin ETFs holding a roughly $301M net inflow for the week. That tells us something important: institutional demand has not disappeared, but confidence is far from stable. One day Wall Street is buying the dip. Two days later, Wall Street is apparently checking the emergency exit. 😂

Bitcoin itself is hovering around $80.6K, while Ethereum sits near $2.35K. The market is not showing the kind of broad momentum that usually gets traders screaming “ALTSEASON” before breakfast. BNB and XRP have shown more resilience, while SOL and ADA have been weaker in the latest session.

The bigger question now is whether the $80K area becomes a launchpad or another battle zone. Bitcoin has spent weeks fighting through macro pressure, ETF-flow reversals and changing expectations around interest rates. The Federal Reserve’s October 28 decision is still sitting in the background like that one friend who says nothing but somehow controls the whole conversation. 😂

Pro Tip: Don’t judge the ETF story from one giant inflow or one scary outflow. Watch the sequence. If Bitcoin ETFs start recording several consecutive inflow sessions while BTC holds above the $80K area, that would show stronger demand. If large withdrawals keep returning, the market could stay stuck in consolidation.

For now, Bitcoin is sending mixed signals. Institutions are still involved, but their mood changes faster than Crypto Twitter changes its favorite coin.
