Halloween has always seemed like the perfect excuse to be a little creative. You can dress strangely, decorate everything in unusual ways, and nobody questions why you're carrying a pumpkin around! 😂
This year, I decided to do something different.
Instead of choosing a traditional witch or vampire costume, I wanted something connected to my own interests. After a little brainstorming, I came up with an idea: Crypto Queen of Halloween!
My plan was simple. I would wear black and yellow, decorate a small board with crypto symbols, and create a look inspired by the world of Binance.
I found some black clothes, added yellow accessories, and made tiny paper symbols representing Bitcoin, Ethereum, and BNB. I even created a little cardboard coin for my costume.
Was it perfect? Absolutely not.
One side of my cardboard coin looked more like a potato than a cryptocurrency. But honestly, that made it even funnier. 😂
When I arrived at the Halloween gathering, everyone was showing off their costumes. There were vampires, skeletons, witches, and even someone dressed as a giant banana.
Then someone looked at my outfit and asked, "Wait, are you dressed as money?"
I laughed.
"Not exactly. I'm dressed as something that makes people check their phones way too often!"
Everyone laughed, including me.
A few minutes later, we started a small costume competition. Each person had to explain their outfit in one minute.
When my turn came, I held up my little cardboard coin.
"People often see crypto as just numbers moving on a screen," I explained. "But behind those numbers, there's technology, communities, ideas, and a lot to learn. That's what inspired my costume."
I also talked about how my journey into crypto had taught me to ask questions, explore new concepts, and understand things before jumping into them.
Of course, I couldn't resist adding one little joke.
"My costume comes with one special feature. It reminds me to DYOR before making any big decisions!"
Someone from the crowd immediately asked, "Does it also protect you from market crashes?"
I paused dramatically.
"No, unfortunately. That feature hasn't been invented yet!" 😂
The entire room burst into laughter.
Then came the unexpected part.
The person dressed as a giant banana walked up to me and said, "I think we should start a crypto project together. I'll handle the bananas, and you handle the blockchain."
For a second, I genuinely considered asking about the tokenomics.
Thankfully, I remembered that this was a Halloween party, not a project launch!
We took pictures, shared snacks, and spent the rest of the evening making up ridiculous crypto-themed costumes. Someone suggested a Bitcoin vampire that only drinks liquidity, while another person proposed a skeleton trader who had no risk management left in his bones.
That one won the unofficial funniest-costume award. 💀
Looking back, my favourite part wasn't the competition or even the jokes. It was being able to bring something I enjoy into a fun, creative setting and share it with people who were curious enough to ask questions.
Crypto doesn't always have to be discussed through charts, prices, or serious market conversations. Sometimes, a simple conversation or a silly costume can make a complicated topic feel more approachable.
And that's what I enjoyed most about this Halloween.
I came dressed as the Crypto Queen, but I left with a collection of funny memories, a few new ideas, and a strong reminder that learning can happen in the most unexpected places.
Next year, I might dress as a walking candlestick chart.
Although, knowing the market, my costume could change from green to red before the party even starts. 😭😂
🎃 Happy Halloween, Binance Fam!
If you could create a crypto-inspired Halloween costume, what would you choose? A Bitcoin vampire, a BNB superhero, or something completely unexpected?
