everyone thinks a regulator waiver means $btc just turned into an easy hold, but actually they looked at liquidity and price history and decided it can stand on its own in a fund.

that gap is where people get hurt. you see the headline, fomo the entry, then sit in a bag with no real exit plan while the move you chased already happened. ngl the approval tone and your fill are not the same trade.

a few years ago the vibe was that bitcoin still needed a crutch. this waiver is a different read. a regulator went through how $btc trades and basically said the history and the liquidity are enough for it to carry a fund by itself. useful case study, not a promise. standing on its own doesn't stop you from buying the top or freezing when it's time to get out. the risk just moved from "will they allow it" to "did you actually have a plan."

what's your take, tone shift or just another headline trap?
