🏦 Two Bitcoin treasury firms. Two very different weeks.

Strive bought 4,045 BTC for about $335M between Oct 12 and 16, lifting its total to 36,818 BTC. Strategy added only 267 BTC, about $22.1M, bringing its total to 848,517 BTC. cryptobriefingprimexbt

How Strive paid for it:
🔹 Warrants were exercised for expected gross proceeds of $369.2M, and no traditional warrants from its PIPE remain outstanding.
🔹 A $630M preferred stock offering was also priced, scheduled to settle Oct 20.
🔹 Average buy price was about $82,803 per BTC. Strive, Inc. - Form 8-K - FY2026 +2

The catch: Class A shares outstanding rose about 13.5% in a week, so existing holders own a smaller slice unless the new BTC earns it back. primexbt

Why it matters: Strategy and Metaplanet face the MSCI exclusion clock (list due Nov 11), while a smaller rival is raising capital and buying faster. Treasury buying isn’t over, but it’s moving to different hands.

Today: $BTC is trading near $82.8K (+1.4%), still inside the $80K to $87K range of the past month. Rising yields, oil prices and AI-trade worries are keeping gains limited. investing

Watch next: Strategy’s next weekly update, the MSCI list on Nov 11, and the Fed meeting on Oct 27 and 28.
