BlackRock has filed for a new $BTC ETF called the iShares Bitcoin Managed Protection ETF (PBIT).
The fund is designed to give investors some upside exposure to Bitcoin while also providing around 10% downside protection through options linked to IBIT.
PBIT would use Bitcoin-related options, cash, and short-term bonds to create this structure.
Investors would get some protection during a market decline, but their potential gains would also be capped.
