Why a wallet balance is not the same as spendable resources
Seeing TRX in a wallet does not necessarily mean every on-chain action will have enough resources available.
TRX is the network’s native asset. Bandwidth and Energy are resources used to process transactions and smart-contract calls. Staking TRX can provide a share of those resources, and another account can delegate resources to you.
For example, a wallet may have enough TRX to show a healthy balance but still have limited Energy available for a contract interaction. Depending on the transaction and current rules, the account may need additional resources or TRX may be burned to cover the shortfall.
This is why transaction previews and resource estimates matter. Before using a decentralized application, check the network, the action being requested, estimated resource usage, and any fee-limit settings the wallet exposes.
A clear interface should explain what a user is authorizing and how the transaction will be paid for not merely display a token balance.
