Three men were sentenced to prison terms of five to six years for an attempted cryptocurrency robbery during a home invasion in Bristol. According to ChainCatcher, Avon and Somerset Police said Terroll Paul, 31, Mohamed Samagassi, 37, and Pierre Madzou, 30, broke into a man’s home in the early hours of May 15, assaulted him and demanded cryptocurrency, but failed to obtain any. On October 15, Bristol Crown Court sentenced Paul to six years, Madzou to five and a half years, and Samagassi to five years for aggravated burglary. The victim suffered serious head injuries and required hospital treatment. His underage sister called the police, and the three men were arrested at the scene. They pleaded guilty when they appeared in court in August.
