Bitcoin dipped below $81,000 on Thursday after faster-than-expected U.S. consumer price increases revived bets on another Federal Reserve rate hike. CoinGecko data put Bitcoin at $81,002, down 2.7% over 24 hours. CME FedWatch put the probability of an October rate hike at 29.3%, up from 17.7% a week earlier. Algoz's Stephen Wundke expects Bitcoin to trade between $76,000 and $83,000 for the rest of October unless a clear catalyst emerges. The Fed will announce its next rate decision on October 28.
