Everyone thinks a shift in long-term momentum means the new trend has already arrived, but actually you only have a hint until the market confirms it.

That gap is where a lot of accounts get hurt. The old move looks tired, fear of missing the next one kicks in, and the first sign of life becomes a full position. If the turn never sticks, you are left holding a trade that was never finished.

Think of a traffic light that has been red for ages. The second it flickers, some drivers roll forward, even though most flickers mean nothing and the light stays red. Momentum works the same way. A potential long-term shift can start forming while the larger trend is still in charge, and the common mistake is treating "might be turning" as "it has turned." Confirmation is the part people skip: the new direction has to hold, the old trend has to fail at taking it back, and follow-through has to actually show up. Until then, $BTC can look ready, $ETH can look ready, and $BNB can look ready, and all three can still snap back into the prior move.

Waiting is not the same as missing it. It is refusing to pay for a story the chart has not finished telling.

Where do you draw the line between an early signal and real confirmation?
