Fission announced a $10 million Series A on Thursday to address liquidity problems in tokenized private funds. Pantera Capital led the round, which closed in September, with participation from Circle Ventures, Borderless Capital and Ari Rubenstein. Fission is building a system designed to buy investors' tokenized fund shares rather than make investors wait for withdrawals. CEO Jonathan Shaffer said investors can pay a fee to sell immediately, with settlement in 90 seconds or less. Fission declined to disclose its valuation.
