$APT has launched its Encrypted Mempool on mainnet to help protect traders from front-running and sandwich attacks.
By hiding transaction details before execution, the feature helps prevent bots from identifying trades and exploiting them for profit.
The system is optional for each transaction, and validators decrypt the details only after the block is finalized.
Sender addresses and transaction fees remain visible, but the transaction’s main contents stay private until execution.
Aptos says the feature adds only a small amount of processing time, giving users another layer of protection when trading on-chain.
