Good news for the XRP community — the supply is safe.

The XRP Ledger Foundation has confirmed that no new XRP was created from that recently patched ledger bug. Turns out this flaw had been sitting there for about a decade, and in the wrong hands, it could have allowed attackers to mint XRP out of thin air. Definitely not the kind of thing you want lurking in the code.

Thankfully, it was fixed in version 3.4.1, and there are no signs it was ever exploited. So the total supply remains capped at 100 billion, exactly as it should be.

A close call? Maybe. But credit where it's due — the issue got patched and the foundation came out with a clear statement instead of leaving everyone guessing. That kind of transparency matters.

For holders, it's business as usual. No dilution, no hidden minting, no changes to the supply cap. Just a reminder that even mature networks need constant vigilance, and this time the fix came before any damage was done.$ETHFI $ZEC $NEAR
