Samsung Wallet is adding $USDC transfers on Solana 📱
From late October, US Galaxy users can:
- Send USDC (a digital dollar) straight from Samsung Wallet
- Pay out to bank accounts in 60+ countries, in local currency
- Send without a separate crypto app, keys or network choice
Key numbers:
- ~82M eligible US Galaxy devices
- USDC issued by Circle, running on $SOL
- No crypto wallet needed by the person receiving
Fees: no Samsung fee for compatible wallets; bank payout fees vary and are shown before you confirm.
This brings stablecoins to people who may never open a crypto app.
