🇪🇺 USDT is subject to restrictions in the EU. Crypto services must stop providing services
The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) said that companies with a MiCA license must stop servicing stablecoins that do not comply with the regulations $USDT , the largest stablecoin on the market, is also subject to restrictions.
This concerns trading, transfers and storage for customers in the EU. Remaining positions must be settled by January 8, 2027.
Limited operations for the sale, exchange and withdrawal of assets will be maintained for a transitional period.
