An Anonymous Bitcoin trader 4chan, known for correctly predicting Bitcoin’s Oct. 6, 2025 peak, is once again in the spotlight for its second prediction. His BTC cycle model marked Oct. 5, 2026, as the expected market bottom, while Bitcoin is trading around $85,547, roughly 32% below its peak but well above its July low of $58,000.
4chan Model Now Points to a Bitcoin Bottom
The prediction came from an anonymous 4chan post published in December 2023. The model is based on two simple time periods. First, it uses a 1,064-day rise from a major bear market low to the cycle top.
It then uses a 364-day period from the top to the next major bottom. The model is now drawing attention for its second prediction.
Today is October 6th, exactly 365 days since Bitcoin hit its all-time high.
According to the infamous 4chan prediction, today marks the exact bottom of the Bitcoin cycle.
But Bitcoin already bottomed back in July.

However, Bitcoin hit its predicted peak of about $126,000 on 6 October, 2025. Based on the same 364-day cycle, the model placed the next bottom around Oct. 5, 2026.
Perhaps that date has now passed. Bitcoin is now trading around $85,547 today, about 32% below its record high. It had also fallen to around $57,000 in July before recovering.
This means that the 2025 top matched the model closely, but the latest bottom call remains unconfirmed.
4chan’s 2026 Bitcoin Price Target
The anonymous model does not stop at the bottom. Its next major target puts Bitcoin between $190,000 and $250,000.
It also gives long-term targets of 15,000–20,000 for Ethereum and 1,000–1,500 for Solana.
What Comes Next for Bitcoin?
Other traders are also turning bullish. Crypto Rover said Bitcoin bear markets have historically ended around this stage, while current price action may show that the cycle bottom came earlier.
Even Citigroup has raised its 12-month Bitcoin target from $82,000 to $113,000, citing stronger crypto activity, improving macro conditions and renewed ETF inflows.
On top of that, corporate buying is also continuing. Michael saylor’s Strategy purchased another 334 BTC for about $28.7 million between October 1 and October 4, taking its holdings to 848,000 BTC.
For now, the key question is whether Bitcoin can hold above $82,000 and build a new uptrend after the predicted October bottom.
