Crypto theft losses rose roughly 462% month over month to $766.49 million in September. Security firm PeckShieldAlert said the industry experienced 55 major hacks. The Bitget incident involved about $387 million, making it one of the largest crypto thefts of the year to date. The Liquid Network theft involved about $320 million, with $285 million returned, and also ranked among the year's largest thefts.
